Among the longest-running wineries of the appellation, Antonelli San Marco has been owned by the same family since 1883. Composed of 190 hectares in an unique corpus in the center of the area Docg Montefalco.

The clay soils rich in limestone, with different geological origins, form austere hills surrounded by forests, with an ideal microclimate for vines and olive trees. Thirteen hectares are dedicated to olive groves, while about 60 hectares are devoted to vineyards, mainly oriented towards south and west. We grow only native varieties: Grechetto and Trebbiano Spoletino for whites, Sangiovese and Sagrantino for reds.

At the heart of the winery, just below the historical villa, is the cellar, completely buried and designed for vinification by gravity. A structure with low environmental impact which allows us to avoid the use of pumps, ensuring greater control of the first delicate phases of fermentation and maceration, in addition to saving energy resources. We only vinify grapes of our own production, from organic farming, in order to offer a product that we have control on at every stage, with the guarantee of organic certification of both grapes and wines.

From the olive trees that shape the landscape of this part of Umbria, we obtain two types of extra virgin olive oil. The long list of our organic products is completed by the cold cuts produced from the semi-wild pig breeding in our wood and the grappa obtained from the pomace of Sagrantino.
